Step 2 – Access Funding
Determine which program works for you.
From government funders to not-for-profit organizations, there are all kinds of programs to help cover the costs of mobility and home accessibility equipment. Different provinces have different options. Your eligibility will vary based on the program and factors like the kind of product you need, your age, or your income.
Apply for funding.
Funding applications require a lot of detailed information. It will take you and your therapist a little time to work through the process. We can help you kickstart your application by providing helpful information.
Receive status updates and funding approval.
Once your funding is approved, we’ll move ahead quickly to communicate with you, place your order, and ensure delivery as soon as possible. Let us know if you’d like to talk about rentals or repairs that can bridge the gap while you await funding approval, or equipment delivery.
Step 3 – Get Equipment
Place the order.
We always wait for funding approval to place orders. In some cases, you can choose to make a pre-payment for the full cost of the equipment so we can place your order right away. This works like a deposit that’s refunded once your funding comes through.
Get the fit just right.
We’re all about maximizing mobility, performance, and safety. Once your equipment arrives, we’ll have a final fitting appointment to make sure everything fits and feels just right. We’ll talk you through maintenance and care, and answer any additional questions you may have. Your equipment is essential. That’s why we offer rentals, or repair existing equipment, to keep you independent and safe while you work through the funding and purchasing process.
