Which chairs are in the rental fleet?
We rent two Quantum Rehab models, the Edge 3 and the Q6 Edge 2.0, and match one to what is available on your dates. The quote names the model before anything is booked. Both share these figures from Quantum:
- Weight capacity 300 lbs (136 kg); Quantum notes that the seating fitted sets the final figure.
- Turning radius 20.5 in (52 cm), without front riggings, and a base 24.4 in (62 cm) wide.
- Six wheels: 14 in (36 cm) drive wheels with 6 in (15 cm) casters at the front and rear.
- Ground clearance 2.7 in (7 cm) at the battery tray.
Speed, seat functions and controls depend on how each chair is set up, so the quote confirms them.
How does the rental work?
- You send the start date, how long you need the chair, and a postal code. Staff check which chair is free.
- An enquiry does not reserve a chair. The booking starts when you accept the written quote.
- Power wheelchairs are rented by the week or by the month. The quote names the billing unit, the minimum term and any deposit.
- Our team delivers the chair, sets it up and picks it up across Toronto and the GTA.

Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
It suits someone who needs powered mobility for a short time, such as after surgery, for a visitor, or before a purchase.
- Choose a manual or transport wheelchair rental if the rider will be pushed and does not need a motor.
- Choose a mobility scooter rental if the assessment is for a scooter. A power wheelchair is a different seat and control.
Will it fit?
- Share the seat width and depth, the control side, foot supports, cushion and how the rider transfers.
- Measure the narrowest doorway: the base is 24.4 in (62 cm) wide, and the seating can be wider. Say if the chair must travel by car.
- We confirm the chair, the seat and the controls for your route before you book.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- The agreement names the fault contact, how to extend the rental, and when our team picks the chair up.

Frequently asked questions
Can I take the rented chair on a flight?
Only after the airline approves that chair and battery, and the rental agreement allows the trip. Folding alone is not approval.
What if I need the chair for longer?
Ask before the end date. The agreement sets any notice, extra charges and when our team picks the chair up.
Does the quote include delivery?
Yes. Our team delivers, sets up and picks up every power chair rental, and the written quote names each of those charges.
