Who is it for?
- A handhold for getting into or out of bed, if the care team agrees.
- It is not a device to stop someone rolling out of bed.
- The rating is 300 lb (136 kg).
- Skip it if the straps have no box spring or frame to go around.
Which beds fit the straps?
- Fits conventional beds wider than 37 inches.
- If the bed is close to that width, confirm before ordering.
- The under-mattress arm is 36.2 inches. The grip adjusts from 17.7 to 21.7 inches (45 to 55 cm).
- No hospital bed model is named and no mount is given for a moving frame, so confirm before ordering.
What happens if the strap is left off?
- The arms rest on the box spring or bed pan. Route the straps around the box spring and the frame, then tighten the buckles.
- Do not use CH3053 without the strap. A gap can cause entrapment, strangulation or death.
- The handle must stay against the mattress side.

Are the bed and box spring included?
No. The bed, box spring and mattress are separate, while the straps ship with the rail and have to be used.
How do I check the strap is tight?
Pull the grip in several directions before use. If it moves, retighten until the rail stays against the mattress.
Is 300 lb a full transfer rating?
No. That figure is the stated rating only, and the maker does not present CH3053 as a full transfer device.

Ezee Life warrants the CH3053 bed safety rail against manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship for one year, and replaces or repairs any part that has become defective.
- Term: 1 year.
- Covers the original purchaser only; the original receipt, the purchase date and the serial number are needed for a claim.
- Alterations, misuse, abuse or accidental damage void the warranty.
- Freight, travel costs, lost earnings and other consequential costs are not covered.
