The EZ-ACCESS SUITCASE Trifold Advantage folds twice for a longer portable wheelchair or scooter route.
Who should use the Trifold?
- It suits a person crossing a raised landing, steps or a vehicle sill with a qualified helper and lap belt.
- It is for wheelchairs and scooters, not commercial use. A low sill may suit a threshold mat; a mostly fixed entrance may suit a GATEWAY ramp.
Which size fits the route?
- Measure vertical rise, run and vehicle opening. A gentle 1:12 starting point uses one foot of ramp per inch of rise; maker usage guidance may be steeper, so check the device manual.
- Lengths are 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10 ft. Usable width is 29.5 in and the 800 lb (363 kg) limit includes person and device.
- Each section weighs 16 to 30 lb depending on length. The maker and Canadian distributor disagree on total product weight, so we confirm the selected length before you order.
How is it set up safely?
Join both sections before a rider crosses. Anchor the top lip before each use, on a sound landing, with the supplied clevis pins. Clear ice, snow, leaves and dirt; the coated deck may be slippery when wet.
It folds to half its length and width. The optional Top Lip Extension reaches 9 in over an obstruction, but is sold separately; confirm its fit.

The single-fold Advantage has lighter sections; the Signature is one piece.
Frequently asked questions
Does a carry bag come with it?
No. The maker package lists the ramp, clevis pins, hinge pins and instructions, but no carry bag or lap belt.
Can one person set up a Trifold?
The two sections must be rejoined and anchored. EZ-ACCESS requires a qualified helper whenever someone uses the ramp.
Can it be left outside in winter?
Clear ice, snow, leaves and dirt before use; the maker warns that a wet surface can be slippery.
