Description
The Ezee Life CH1094 is a 20 in (51 cm) folding standard wheelchair in a steel frame, for an adult who self-propels or is pushed.
What does it do, and how does it work?
- Seat 20 in (51 cm) wide by 16 in (41 cm) deep, with a 300 lbs (136 kg) limit that is the same as the 18 in model.
- 24 in (61 cm) rear wheels with hand rims and solid tires; 8 in (20 cm) casters; the axles are not quick release.
- Padded arms lift out after a push-pin is pressed; the footrests swing away, lift off and have flip-up footplates.
- Lever wheel locks pull back to lock and push forward to release.
- 37 lbs (16.8 kg); the footrests add 3.6 lbs (1.6 kg).
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
- An adult up to 300 lbs (136 kg) who needs a wider seat.
- A smaller seat: the 18 in CH1093. A 22 x 18 in seat and 400 lbs: the CH1091.
- Heavier or all-day use: the Sentra heavy duty or a lighter, more adjustable chair.
Will it fit?
- Seat 20 in wide by 16 in deep; the chair is 28 in (71 cm) wide open, so measure the doorways it must pass.
- Seat height 17.5 or 19.5 in (44.5 or 49.5 cm); overall height 35.5 in (90 cm).
- 41 in (104 cm) long with the footrests and 31 in (79 cm) without them.
- Measure hip width, hip to knee and knee to heel in shoes, or book a free home assessment.
Using it day to day
- Fold it by flipping the footplates up and pulling up on both seat edges; open it by pushing down on the seat until the frame locks.
- Press the push-pin and lift each arm out with two hands, then check it is locked before use.
- Swing the footrests aside and lift them off by their pins; set the length with the wrench so the knees sit level and the thighs are supported.
- Keep the footplates at least 2 in (5 cm) off the floor, and lock both wheels before a transfer.
- The optional elevating legrests raise on a lever with infinite positions and lower when the lever is pushed toward the chair.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- 300 lbs (136 kg). The tires are solid, and the wheels do not quick release.
- The back does not fold down, and there is no seat belt.
- No cushion is included; add a 20 x 16 in cushion.
- Elevating legrests are optional and are chosen instead of the standard footrests.
Which version should I choose?
- Swing-away footrests, or elevating legrests with padded calf rests.
- One colour: black frame and black embossed vinyl upholstery.
How does it compare?

Ezee Life warrants the CH1094 standard 20 inch wheelchair against manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship for one year, for the original purchaser. Ezee Life's distributor, Factory Direct Medical, repairs or replaces defective parts at its option.
- Whole chair: 1 year from the date of purchase.
- Claims need the original receipt, the purchase date and the serial number.
- Not covered: normal wear and tear, accidents, misuse, abuse, negligence, alterations, improper assembly, and freight or travel costs.
