Description
The Evolution Xpresso Lite is a four-wheel rollator made by Evolution Technologies in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia.
Who is the Xpresso Lite for?
It suits someone who wants an 8 inch four-wheel rollator and a frame listed at 15 lbs (6.8 kg) before the basket and back strap.
- You want a narrower seat. The Xpresso Zero has a 17.5 inch seat and weighs 16 to 17 lbs.
- You need more than 350 lbs of capacity, or a wider seat. See heavy-duty rollators.
Which Lite size fits you?
- Mini: 18" (457 mm)
- Regular: 21" (533 mm)
- Tall: 24" (610 mm)
Seat width is 18 inches on every size. Tighten the knob snugly, and do not overtighten it.
How does it fold, and will it fit your doorways and car?
The manual says to pull the handle in the middle of the seat. Measure the narrowest doorway before you choose it. Evolution does not publish a folded size.
How do the brakes, seat and basket work?
The live page and the sheet both say low-maintenance cable brakes. That was wrong for this SKU. Do not lock them while the rollator is moving, and do not walk with the brakes on.
Which colours and accessories can you choose?
The sheet and the live page list Ruby Red and Ebony Black, in Mini, Regular and Tall. We do not link accessory pages, because none is published here.
How does the Lite compare with the Zero and the Wide?
- The Zero is 1 to 2 lbs heavier, 2.5 to 4.5 inches wider, and its seat is half an inch narrower (17.5 inches).
- The Wide is the heavy-duty model: a 20 inch seat, 450 lbs, and about twice the frame weight.
Frequently asked questions
Will a 22.5 inch rollator fit my doorways?
Open, the Lite is 22.5 inches wide and 26 inches long on every size. Compare 22.5 inches with your narrowest doorway, including the bathroom.
Can someone push me while I sit on the Lite?
No. The Lite warranty card says the warranty is void if the walker is used as a wheelchair. Do not set the parking brakes while the rollator is moving.
How is the Lite different from the Zero and the Wide?
The Lite is the lightest of the three at 15 lbs, with an 18 inch seat and EVA tires, and it is 22.5 inches wide.
