The EZ-ACCESS SUITCASE Advantage is a portable ramp that folds once and separates into two lifting sections.
Who does this ramp suit?
- A wheelchair or scooter user crossing a curb, step or vehicle sill with a qualified helper and lap belt.
- For an entrance where the ramp stays in place, compare a GATEWAY solid surface ramp.
Which length and width fit?
- Measure vertical rise and available run. A gentle 1:12 starting point uses about one foot per inch of rise; published usage guidance can be steeper, so check the device manual.
- Choose 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 ft. Usable deck width is 29.5 in; the 800 lb (363 kg) limit counts person and device.
- There are no raised side curbs. Keep the device centred and rejoin both sections before anyone rides; a separated pair is only for unoccupied equipment.
How is it placed and stored?
Anchor the top plate before use; clevis pins are supplied, while semi-permanent anchoring hardware is separate. Clear ice, snow and debris, and use care when wet.
The ramp folds to 15 in wide and 4.5 in high. Each section weighs 6 to 15 lb depending on length and has a handle.
Which accessory changes its limit?
A separate Top Lip Extension reaches from 3 to 9 in over a deeper landing, but lowers capacity to 500 lb (227 kg). Confirm availability before ordering.
What else should I compare?
The Signature stays in one piece; the Trifold packs shorter but is heavier.
Frequently asked questions
Can the halves be used apart for a rider?
No. They may be separated for stowage or unoccupied equipment only; reconnect them before a person crosses.
Are handrails available?
No handrails are available for this model. A GATEWAY with rails is a different ramp.
Can two ramps be joined for a longer run?
There is no joining kit. Choose a suitable single length or another access solution.
The EZ-ACCESS lifetime warranty covers parts and components, not the powder coat or non-skid tape.

EZ-ACCESS (Homecare Products, Inc.) warrants the SUITCASE Singlefold Advantage Series ramp against defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the lifetime of the product.
- Parts and components: lifetime, repaired or replaced without charge for parts or labour.
- Covers the original purchase and delivery only; not transferable. Proof of purchase is required.
- Report a defect within 30 days of finding it.
- Excludes the powder-coated finish and applied non-skid tape; damage from installation, alteration, relocation, poor maintenance, improper loads, negligence, accident or misuse; ordinary wear; weathering and corrosion; and ground or site changes.
