Description
The Golden Buzzaround XL, model GB124 (GB124A-STD), is a 4-wheel scooter for a rider at or under 300 lbs (136 kg).
What does it do and how does it work?
- Speed is up to 6.4 km/h (4 mph). Range is up to 16.1 km (10 mi) on two 12 Ah packs at 200 lbs (91 kg).
- Turning radius 45.5 in (115.6 cm). Ground clearance 3.5 in (8.9 cm). Recommended incline 6 degrees.
- Five pieces. The front half is 37 lbs (16.8 kg). Assembled weight is 98 lbs (44.5 kg) with the standard batteries.
- The delta tiller has a USB port, speed dial, horn and throttle levers. The headlight is an adjustable LED.
- Two 12 Ah batteries are standard. A 22 Ah extended-range pack is a separate upgrade.

- Length 40 in (101.6 cm). Width 20 in (50.8 cm). Seat 17 x 14.5 in (43.2 x 36.8 cm), 21.75 to 23.25 in (55.2 to 59.1 cm) from the ground, in 3 positions.
- Tires are solid: 7.5 in (19.1 cm) front and 8 in (20.3 cm) rear. Shrouds are red or blue.
Using it day to day
- Take the key out before you get on or off, and before you take the scooter apart.
- To drive, the key is on and the freewheel lever is engaged. Freewheel releases the park brake. Do not use it on a slope unless you can control the scooter.
- Take-apart order: seat straight up, battery pack, front basket, then lock the tiller clockwise 90 degrees. Do not pull it by the armrests.
- Charge 6 to 8 hours after each use. Fully charge new batteries before the first ride.
- No passengers and no escalators. Do not drive across an incline or reverse down one.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- It can cross short grass or gravel. Stay out of long grass and loose gravel. It is not for snow, ice or salt.
- Lifetime on the frame. Two years on the drive train and the electronics. One year on the batteries. See warranty.
- The 22 Ah pack is not in the box.

Warranty details
Golden Technologies warrants the Buzzaround XL 4-wheel (GB124A) to the initial consumer, from the date of purchase from an authorized Golden provider, against defects in materials or workmanship.
- Steel frame, frame welds, tiller frame, front fork and seat post: lifetime limited.
- Transaxle and motor/brake assembly (electrical function): 2 years.
- Controller, dash, wire harnesses, potentiometer and battery charger: 2 years.
- Batteries supplied by Golden: 1 year.
- Bearings, bushings, rubber and plastic parts, seat swivel, armrests and accessories: 1 year.
- Excludes wear items (tires and tubes, motor brushes, brake pads, plastic shrouds, bulbs and fuses, upholstery, armrest pads), misuse, commercial use and exceeding the weight capacity.
- Parts only: labour, service calls and freight are the owner's cost. A warranty registration card must be on file.
