Description
The Pride Go-Go LX with CTS (S54LX) is a four-wheel travel scooter that comes apart by hand, with suspension front and rear.
Who it suits, and who should look elsewhere
- A rider up to 300 lbs (136 kg) who can steer a tiller with both hands and keep both feet on the floorboard.
- Over 300 lbs, more than about 17 km a day, or grass, gravel and steep driveways: choose a larger scooter from our four-wheel scooters.
- Ground clearance is 1.5 in (38 mm) at the motor and 0.75 in (19 mm) at the anti-tip wheels. Obstacles over 2 in (50 mm), and slopes over 6 degrees, are outside its rating.
- If you need a cushion or back support for posture, ask your therapist about a power wheelchair.
Will the pieces fit your car?
- It splits into five pieces with no tools: seat, battery pack, basket, front section and rear section.
- Heaviest piece is the front section at 39 lbs. Without batteries the scooter is 90 lbs.
- Length 41.75 in, width 20.5 in. Turning radius 44.75 in; a three-point turn needs about 57 in (145 cm) of corridor.
- The folding seat is 17 by 17 in and 23 lbs, sets from 20.75 to 22.25 in above the ground, swivels and has armrests that flip up. Solid tires are 7 in front and 8 in rear; CTS springs sit at both ends.
- An LED headlight is standard. Fit it with a free home assessment before you order.
Batteries, controls and care
- Two 12 V 18 Ah sealed batteries are included in one lift-out pack. Range is up to 17 km (10.5 mi) per charge.
- The 2 amp charger works through the tiller port or on the pack after you lift it out. Charge 8 to 14 hours before first use and after daily use, add 4 hours once the charger shows full, and give it 24 hours weekly and 48 hours monthly. No extension cord.
- The delta tiller has a key, horn, speed dial, thumb throttle, battery gauge, light switch and charger port. It powers down after about 20 minutes idle, and reverse runs slower than forward.
- To push it, key out, freewheel lever forward, and only on level ground. Never sit on it in freewheel. Pull the lever back before you drive.
- IPX4 rated: keep the console dry. Operate between -25 and 50 degrees C, never charge a frozen battery, and store it charged with the pack out.
- Never ride it as a seat in a vehicle. Pride says it does not meet ISO 7176-19. Strap the empty scooter at its four securement points. Only one rear accessory can be fitted at a time. We replace worn batteries.

No. A lap belt is an option. The scooter is complete without one.

Warranty details
Pride Mobility warrants the Go-Go LX sold in Canada to the original purchaser against defects in material and workmanship.
- Structural frame (main frame, fork, seat post, tiller frame): limited lifetime.
- Transaxle, motor brake (electronic function), brake, bearings and bushings: 2 years.
- Controller, charger, harnesses and other electrical parts: 2 years.
- Pride batteries: 13 months from purchase.
- Excludes wear items (shrouds, motor brushes, upholstery and seating, brake pads, tires and tubes, fuses and bulbs), abuse, misuse and non-Pride parts.
- Labour, service calls and shipping are not covered unless Pride authorizes them in advance. Service is by an authorized Pride provider.
