The Golden Buzzaround XL-HD, model GB147H, is a 4-wheel scooter for a rider at or under 325 lbs (147 kg).
What does it do and how does it work?
- Speed is up to 6.4 km/h (4 mph). Range is up to 22.5 km (14 mi) on two 22 Ah packs at 200 lbs (91 kg).
- Turning radius 47 in (119.4 cm). Ground clearance 3 in (7.6 cm). Recommended incline 6 degrees.
- Five pieces. The front half is 43 lbs (19.5 kg). Assembled weight is 119 lbs (54.0 kg) with the batteries.
- The tiller is adjustable and has a charging port. The headlight is an angle-adjustable LED. Brakes are electromechanical.
- Two 22 Ah batteries are the standard pack.

- Length 41.5 in (105.4 cm). Width 21.5 in (54.6 cm). Seat 18 x 16 in (45.7 x 40.6 cm), 21 to 23 in (53.3 to 58.4 cm) from the ground, in 3 positions.
- Tires are 8 in (20.3 cm) solid, front and rear. Colours are red and blue.
Using it day to day
- Take the key out before you sit, stand, or take the scooter apart.
- To drive, turn the key on and pull the freewheel lever back to D. Push it to N only to roll the scooter by hand, never on a slope.
- Take-apart order: seat straight up, battery pack, front basket, then turn the tiller lock clockwise 90 degrees. Do not lift it by the armrests.
- Charge 6 to 8 hours on the off-board charger after each use. Fully charge new batteries before the first ride.
- No passengers and no escalators. Do not drive across a slope or back down one.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- Short grass and firm gravel are usable. Stay out of long grass, loose gravel, snow, ice and salt.
- Lifetime on the steel frame, welds, tiller frame, front fork and seat post. Two years on the transaxle and the electronics, including the charger. One year on Golden batteries. See warranty.
- You pay labour, service calls and transport. Tires, shrouds and upholstery are wear items.

Golden Technologies warrants the Buzzaround XL-HD 4-wheel (GB147H) to the initial consumer, from the date of purchase from an authorized Golden provider, against defects in materials or workmanship.
- Steel frame, frame welds, tiller frame, front fork and seat post: lifetime limited.
- Transaxle and motor/brake assembly (electrical function): 2 years.
- Controller, dash, wire harnesses, potentiometer and battery charger: 2 years.
- Batteries supplied by Golden: 1 year.
- Bearings, bushings, rubber and plastic parts, seat swivel, armrests and accessories: 1 year.
- Excludes wear items (tires and tubes, motor brushes, brake pads, plastic shrouds, bulbs and fuses, upholstery, armrest pads), misuse, commercial use and exceeding the weight capacity.
- Parts only: labour, service calls and freight are the owner's cost. A warranty registration card must be on file.
