Which lifts does it fit?
- Joerns chart: the maker's own compatibility chart names Hoyer Journey and Elevate loop-style active lifts; Ascend is listed only as a discontinued reference.
- Not passive lifts: do not connect the sling to a passive full-body lift or a clip cradle based on appearance.
- Check first: confirm the exact bar, the loop cradle and the user fit before any transfer.
- Lift separate: the sling is supplied on its own; a compatible lift is not included.

What is the sling made of?
- Material: polyester, with loops for a Hoyer active-lift cradle.
- Fit of the fabric: the sling is shaped for a standing transfer, so the person is supported under the arms and around the trunk rather than under the whole body.
How do you wash, inspect and replace it?
- Inspection: check the webbing, loops and stitching before every transfer, and remove damaged material from service.
- Washing: follow the sewn care label and the Joerns Standaid manual for laundering.
- Safe use: never pull the person by the loops or leave them unattended in the lift.

Joerns Healthcare warrants the Hoyer Professional Deluxe sit-to-stand loop sling to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months after purchase by the original consumer or owner, and replaces a sling that proves defective in that time.
- Term: 12 months from purchase.
- Covers the original purchaser only.
- Excludes damage from unsuitable environments or not following the user and care instructions, normal wear and tear, neglect and wilful damage.
- Any alteration, modification or repair voids the warranty.
