Description
The Drive 13221 full body sling is a mesh sling with a commode opening for a floor-lift transfer. Three sizes fit a four or six point Drive cradle, and each is rated 600 lbs (272 kg).
What does it do?
- It supports the person from the shoulders through the legs during a hoisted transfer.
- The commode opening gives access for toileting without removing the sling.
- Four sling points attach to the cradle, and no chain or strap is needed.
- The mesh polyester lets air and water through.
Which lifts does it fit?
It is for Drive floor lifts: 13023, 13023SV, 13240, 13244, Levantar FLNP500 and FLP500, and Gravis FLNP600 and FLP600.
- It is not for the Drive STSM450 or STSP450 sit-to-stand lifts.
- A non-Drive lift needs the lift maker's approval, and the two safe working loads must match (patient lifts and risk of fall).

Who is it for?
- A person who is transferred with a floor lift and needs toileting access.
- It is not a sit-to-stand harness and not a walking belt.
- A sling that is too large can let the person slip through the opening, so the fit matters.
Which size?
Medium is 13221M at 53 x 42 in, Large is 13221L at 58 x 45 in, and Extra Large is 13221XL at 60 x 44 in.
- As a guide, Medium suits about 125-200 lbs and 63-68 in of height, Large 175-300 lbs and 67-72 in, and Extra Large 275-500 lbs and 71-76 in.
- The guide is a starting point only, not a weight-band rule; have the person measured.
- 13221XXL is a separate bariatric mesh sling at 51 x 43 in, without the commode-opening label.

What is included?
- One mesh sling in the chosen size. The lift and cradle are separate.
- No chain or strap is required for 13221M, 13221L or 13221XL.
- Sling straps 13232 are a separate item if you need them for another setup.

Care and checks
- Check the mesh, seams and all four sling points before each use, and take a frayed or torn sling out of service.
- Machine wash warm or cold, up to 105 F (40.5 C), with a non-enzyme detergent and no bleach. Air dry, or tumble dry on low.
- The lift and sling safe working loads must match before the first transfer.

Frequently asked questions
Will this sling fit a Drive sit-to-stand lift?
No. It is for the Drive floor lifts listed above, not the STSM450 or STSP450 sit-to-stand lifts.
Are chains or the 13232 straps included?
No. No chain or strap is required for the 13221 sling, and 13232 is a separate item.
Is 600 lbs the way to pick a size?
No. 600 lbs (272 kg) is the safe working load of each size. Size comes from the body measurements.
Does the XXL have the commode opening?
13221XXL is a bariatric mesh sling without that label. Choose 13221XL or smaller for the commode opening.

Drive Medical warrants the full body sling (13221 series) to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for 6 months from the date of purchase.
- Term: 6 months, limited.
- Covers the original consumer purchaser only.
- Excludes failure from misuse or negligence, and normal wear and tear.
- Excludes damage from excessive washing or from incorrect washing and drying.
