Drive's 13221M, 13221L and 13221XL are full-body mesh slings with a commode opening and a 600 lb (272 kg) maker rating.
Which lifts does the 13221 sling fit?
- These three sizes fit the 13240 and 13244 powered floor lifts and the Levantar and Gravis floor lifts.
- They are not for Drive sit-to-stand lifts.
- Match the exact lift, cradle and sling size before transfer; another brand's lift needs its maker's approval.

Which size should be chosen?
- The dimensions are Medium 53 x 42 in (135 x 107 cm), Large 58 x 45 in (147 x 114 cm), and Extra Large 60 x 44 in (152 x 112 cm).
- These are product dimensions, not a substitute for a fitting assessment.
- All three are rated to 600 lbs (272 kg), so select by body fit and the person's transfer plan, not by capacity alone.
What does the commode opening change?
The mesh body supports a full-body transfer while leaving a central opening for toileting access.
The opening and the person's positioning need a fitting check.
How is the sling cared for?
- Inspect the mesh, seams and all four attachment points before each use and stop using a worn sling.
- Two people should place the person on the sling. When it is folded, the commode opening faces the person and the handle faces away.
- Machine wash warm or cold, up to 105 F (40.5 C), with a non-enzyme detergent and no bleach. Do not wash it with other colours. Air dry, or tumble dry on low.
- The original purchaser has a 6-month limited warranty. Misuse and incorrect washing are excluded.
- Use a lift and sling pairing the maker approves, and stay inside both weight limits.

Drive Medical warrants the full body sling with commode opening (13221) to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for 6 months from the date of purchase, for the original consumer purchaser.
- Term: 6 months limited.
- Covers the original consumer purchaser only.
- Excludes misuse, negligence, normal wear and tear, and excessive or incorrect washing and drying.
- Excludes non-durable components that wear and need periodic replacement.
