Description
Savaria describes two jobs: moving someone up or across the bed, and a lateral transfer. The sheet is also meant to help with pressure management while it is left on the mattress. It does not replace a pressure-relief surface by itself.
Two sizes, two limits
Size L, code M921539-L, is 3D spacer and is rated 1000 lb (453 kg). Size XL, code M921539-XL, is silver spacer with Coolmax and Coolmax freshFX EcoMade, rated 1200 lb (544 kg). The page's own label on the XL row also says "L". Order by the code, not that label.
- Elastic corners grip the mattress. Generous cut is how Savaria describes the fit, without printing a body-size chart.
- Wash at 203 F (95 C). Tumble dry on low, no hotter than 50 C.
- If a lift is part of the lateral move, match the sheet's limit to the ceiling lift or floor lift, and look at other slings when the person must sit.
What this sheet is not
It is not the mesh repositioning sling, and it is not a chair sling. Someone who needs head support in a seat needs a different product.
