What is the difference between straight and curved stairlifts?
Straight stairlifts work on stairs with no turns or landings - they cost less and install in hours. Curved stairlifts are custom-built for stairs with turns, landings, or curves - they cost more and take 4-6 weeks to manufacture. Both attach to stairs, not walls.
Can a stairlift be installed on any staircase?
Yes, stairlifts can be installed on almost any staircase - straight, curved, narrow, or outdoor. The narrowest fit depends on the model, so we measure your stairs for free and confirm which one suits before you decide. Stairlifts mount to stairs, not walls, so no structural changes are needed.
Do you sell used or refurbished stairlifts in Toronto?
Yes, we offer certified refurbished stairlifts at 30-50% savings. All refurbished units are thoroughly inspected, serviced, and include warranty. Refurbished options are available for straight staircases only - curved stairlifts must be custom-built new.
