Frequently asked questions
How long does the battery take to charge, and can I charge it off the lift?
About 3 hours to a full charge, and you can charge it two ways: in place through the control box, or by lifting the pack off the lift and setting it on the supplied charging stand.
What happens if the power fails with someone in the sling?
Use the control-box buttons if the handset fails. For a total power failure, turn the actuator's mechanical lowering device by hand.
Can one person operate the Gravis manual base lift?
Drive says the lift may be safely operated by a single appropriately trained and experienced caregiver in line with ISO 10535:2006, and also notes that circumstances can require two people.
