The Drive Gravis power base lift, FLP600, is a battery-powered patient lift rated 600 lb (272 kg).
Who is the Gravis power base lift for?
- One caregiver moving an adult at home or in a care setting, around a bed leg, armchair or wheelchair.
- Someone who cannot stand or bear weight; a person who can stand needs a sit-to-stand lift.
How does a transfer work?
- The six-point cradle takes loop slings on spring clips.
- The hand control raises and lowers the boom and opens the legs; module buttons are the backup, with a red emergency stop.
- If power fails, a mechanical device on the actuator lowers the person slowly.
- The hook lowers to 2.1 in (55 mm) for floor pickup; the lift stops at an obstruction and alerts on overload.
Will it fit your home?
- The lift is 52 in (1,320 mm) long and turns in a 55.9 in (1,420 mm) circle.
- The legs stand 5.3 in (135 mm) high, with 2.9 in (76 mm) ground clearance.
- Closed 31.6 in (805 mm) outside and 26.1 in inside; open 45.8 in (1,165 mm) outside and 40.3 in inside.
- It weighs 132.2 lb (60 kg) on 3 in front and 5 in locking rear casters; a free home assessment measures the room.
Which slings fit?
- The bar takes loop slings only, rated at least as high as the person's weight.
- A divided leg sling is easier under someone seated; a full body sling supports the trunk.

Battery, charging and care
- A removable 5.0 Ah (7.9 lb) or 2.9 Ah (4.9 lb) pack charges on or off the lift.
- A full charge takes about three hours; release the emergency stop first, or it will not charge.
- Charge indoors, never in a bathroom, and never leave the charger plugged in with no battery.
- We fit replacement batteries: batteries and chargers.

Warranty details
Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare warrants the Gravis floor lift with power base (FLP600) under normal use and service.
- Frame: lifetime, defined as 15 years.
- Electronics: 5 years.
- Battery: 1 year.
- Parts that wear in normal use, such as casters: 90 days from delivery.
- Excludes damage from unsuitable environments or missed maintenance. Any alteration, modification or repair not done or authorized in writing by Drive voids the warranty.
- Drive supplies replacement parts, or services or replaces the product, at its option.
