Description

The Pride Jazzy EVO 614 is a mid-wheel chair with large drive wheels and suspension for a mix of home and paved outdoor routes.

Who does the EVO 614 suit?

  • A rider within 300 lb (136 kg) who needs a captain's seat and more ground clearance than a travel chair.
  • It is a full-size, roughly 255.5 lb chair. For car-trunk loading, compare the Jazzy Carbon.

What must fit?

  • The base is 25.4 in wide and turns within 22 in. Measure doorways and the tightest home turn with the chosen armrests.
  • Captain's seats come in 16, 18 and 20 in widths, with depth adjustment up to 20 in. Check transfers from the swivelling seat.
  • Three inches of clearance helps on uneven pavement; it is not permission to climb any curb or drive in deep snow.

How does it travel and charge?

It does not fold. Seat and batteries remove for service, but the base alone is about 125.7 lb; plan a vehicle ramp or lift.

Pride rates up to 30.6 km (19 miles) with a 300 lb rider on two NF-22 batteries. Cold, hills and battery age reduce range. Replace batteries as a matched pair.

What else should I compare?

The Jazzy Air 2 raises its seat but has less clearance. Browse power chairs by seating and route.

Frequently asked questions

Can I stay seated in the chair during vehicle travel?

No. Pride says this chair is not suitable as a vehicle seat. Transfer to a vehicle seat and secure the empty chair.

Does the seat swivel?

Yes. Use the release lever and check clearance at the transfer point before turning it.

Is this the EVO 614HD?

No. The 614HD is a different heavy-duty configuration. Confirm the rated model before ordering.
