Description

This is a manual care chair with a tilting seat and a reclining back, built for a resident room, not for a powered stand-assist.

Savaria no longer lists this model in its current line-up. Ask us about remaining stock or the current replacement.

Who is it for?

  • A care setting that needs tilt, recline and a leg rest, with a safe working load of 392 lb (180 kg).
  • Not a power lift chair. Nothing in the brochure is motorised.
  • Not a current Savaria chair. The product URL redirects to the legacy products page, which lists the Air Comfort Chair and says those products are no longer available for purchase or production. This page is AC59111. That page does not print the code.
  • Seat width is 18.5" (470 mm). It will not suit a much wider hip.

What to measure

  • Seat width: 18.5" (47 cm). That is the fit number the brochure prints.
  • The brochure labels overall height as 44.5" (113 cm). We confirm which way that dimension runs before you order.
  • Drop-down arms and adjustable wings are for side transfers. Foam-grip handles are for pushing the chair.
  • Four castors: three lock, and one is a locking directional castor. Diameter is not stated.
  • Need it checked in the room? Book a free home assessment.

Use and care limits

  • Back recline, seat tilt and leg rest are adjustments. The brochure does not say they are powered.
  • Headrest is adjustable and removable. Covers and parts are replaceable.
  • Covers are PVC and polyester. Wipe with mild disinfectant wipes. No other cleaner is named.
  • Savaria calls the cushion Airgonomic seating. We do not add a clinical claim to that name.
  • Do not exceed 392 lb (180 kg).
