The Resten Select from Resten is an adjustable comfort bed, not a hospital bed, in our homecare beds.
Who is it for?
- An adult who wants the head and the feet raised at home, at one fixed height.
- Not someone who needs the whole bed to rise, a rolling frame, or rails in the box.
- The current page rates client weight up to 600 lbs (272 kg).
- The 2026 brochure prints a 300 to 600 lb range, so we confirm before you order.
Will it fit the room?
- Twin XL is 39 x 80 in, and Queen is 60 x 80 in.
- King is 78 x 80 in, made from two Twin XL bases.
- Double is 54 x 74 in, so a 75 in mattress is the wrong length.
- It stands on fixed 12 in legs, and no deck-height range is published.
- An optional 12 in leg kit moves in 2 in steps. Separate 2 in legs can be added.
What does it work with?
- It is not a hospital bed. There is no height motor and there are no casters.
- No mattress is included, and no thickness is published. A retainer holds a matching size.
- The maker sells optional adjustable side rails and headboard brackets. They are not in the bed.
- A care team decides whether those rails are used. No rail-gap figure is published for this base.
- The current page lists a wireless remote. The brochure also lists phone-app control, so we confirm before you order.

What happens if the power goes out?
Resten publishes no battery backup, so we confirm before you order what the Select does in an outage.
Can I roll it to another room?
No. It stands on fixed 12 in legs and has no casters, so it does not roll between rooms.
Does a King move as one bed?
No. A King is two Twin XL bases side by side, so each person uses their own remote.
What does not come in the box?
The mattress, adjustable side rails, headboard brackets and the leg kit are optional. The base includes the remote, retainer, light and USB port.
