Harmony 1 Homecare Hospital Bed by Harmony

The Harmony Lite is a folding adjustable base with a 2.7 in (6.9 cm) low-profile deck, for an adult at home. It raises the head and the foot. It is not a hospital bed.

What does it do and how does it work?

• The deck is 2.7 in (6.9 cm) and the base folds for delivery.
• A 9-button wireless remote raises the head and the foot. It has a flashlight and one memory button.
• Three presets are saved on the remote: Zero Gravity, Anti-Sore and Flat.
• The legs are removable and 12 in (30 cm) tall, an 8 in (20 cm) section and a 4 in (10 cm) section.
• The lift capacity is 750 lbs (340 kg).

Who is it for, and who should choose something else?

• For an adult who wants head and foot movement at one set height.
• Choose the Harmony Hi-Low if the whole bed has to rise for a transfer.
• Choose the Harmony Pro for massage and USB ports.
• Choose a railed hospital frame if the person needs side rails.

Will it fit?

Twin XL is 38 by 80 in (97 by 203 cm). Queen is 59 by 80 in (150 by 203 cm). King is 76 by 80 in (193 by 203 cm). Split King is two Twin XL bases, 76 by 80 in together.

Using it day to day

• Set the 8 in (20 cm) and 4 in (10 cm) leg sections, then use the remote for the head and the foot.
• Mattress retainers are included. Plug the base into a wall outlet.

What does it work with, and what are its limits?

• A mattress is not in the box. Use one mattress for Twin XL, Queen or King, or two Twin XL mattresses for Split King.
• There is no massage, wall-hugger, under-bed light, USB port or Bluetooth app, and no whole-bed rise.

Which version should I choose?

• Choose Twin XL, Queen or Split King. Split King is two Twin XL bases with a sync cord.
• A one-piece King is a separate Harmony size, 76 by 80 in. It is not the Split King.

How does it compare?

• Harmony Hi-Low: an 11 in (28 cm) rise and an 880 lbs (400 kg) lift capacity, with massage.
• Harmony Pro: a 17-button remote, an 850 lbs (386 kg) lift capacity, massage, a wall-hugger and USB ports.
• Resten Select: head and foot movement, massage, under-bed lighting and a USB port, rated to 600 lbs (272 kg).
