The Harmony Hi-Low adjustable bed is a comfort bed that looks like bedroom furniture and raises the whole deck at the touch of a button, so the mattress comes up to a height that makes standing easier and drops back down for a shorter distance to the floor. The split frame carries 880 lbs (399 kg) spread over the deck and comes in Twin XL, Full, Full XL, Queen and Split King. A wireless remote runs dual zone massage, four preset positions and two memory settings, and the grey upholstery wipes clean.

What is included?

The base splits into a head section and a foot section so it goes through a doorway: the two frame sections with the motors fitted, the wireless remote, the power supply and its cord, eight support legs in three adjustable heights, the headboard brackets with their bolts, nuts and washers, the mattress retainer, the connector pins, a hex key and a wrench. No mattress, no side rails and no casters come in the box, and delivery is chosen at checkout. Add a Harmony Relax mattress in the matching size or your own mattress in the same size, and the maker's half-length side rails if the person wants something to hold. Rails and mattresses are quoted with the bed so the sizes match.

Description

The Harmony Hi-Low from Harmony is an adjustable comfort bed, not a hospital bed, in our homecare beds.

Who is it for?

  • An adult who needs the whole deck to rise for a transfer.
  • Not a hospital bed: no headboard, rails or casters are included.
  • Not a bariatric frame. The 880 lbs (399 kg) limit includes the mattress and everyone on the deck, spread evenly.

Will it fit the room?

  • Twin XL is 38 x 80 in, and Full is 53 x 75 in. Full XL is 53 x 80 in.
  • Queen is 59 x 80 in, and Split King is 76 x 80 in.
  • The Full label says 76 in long, but the maker measures 75 in, so we confirm before you order.
  • The page lists 10.5 to 21.5 in (27 to 55 cm) from floor to deck. The manual lists 14.5 to 23.5 in, so we confirm before you order.
  • The frame splits in two for a doorway.
  • A Twin XL foundation is 238 lbs (108 kg), and a Queen is 298 lbs (135 kg).

Which mattress and rails work with it?

  • Relax is 350 lbs and 10 in (25 cm), and High Capacity is 600 lbs at that thickness.
  • Home Care Recovery 5 is 325 lbs and 7 in thick.
  • A retainer holds the mattress. Match the deck size, or the height and any rail gap change.
  • Optional rails are Harmony half-length side rails, a set of two, with four height settings.
  • A care team decides on rails. The low position only shortens the distance to the floor.

What happens if the power goes out?

Two fresh 9 V batteries, not included, flatten the empty base. Do not run the massage on them.

Can I roll it to another room?

Not as shipped. Optional casters are six 2.5 in (6 cm) wheels for a hard floor.

Can I fit my own headboard?

Yes. Brackets are included so your own headboard fits, and no board is in the box.

Is the phone app included?

The 2026 sell sheet lists a built-in app. A Bluetooth adapter is still sold separately, so we confirm before you order.
