Part 440542 is the A-Series power traverse trolley top with constant charging. It rides the track on power traverse and the battery is charged along the way.
This top has power traverse, Wi-Fi with load cell and constant charging, so the battery is topped up wherever the motor is parked. Return to Charge does not work on a power traversing lift with this option.
Fitting is a technician's job: this top holds the lift motor and the person in the sling, and the charging strips inside the rail are tested once it is in. See service and repairs.

Does the lift still return to a charge point?
No. Constant charging tops the battery up along the track, and Return to Charge does not work with this option.

Warranty details
Handicare warrants this A-Series ceiling lift trolley kit (440542), supplied new as a service part, against failure caused by defects in material or workmanship.
- Trolley kit: 1 year from installation or 18 months from manufacture, whichever is shorter.
- Remedy: replacement of the defective part.
- Void if the lift is not serviced by Handicare or its authorized service agents, or if an unauthorized person works on it.
- Excludes normal wear and tear, damage by natural forces, user neglect or misuse, and deliberate damage.
- Your statutory rights are not affected.
