BIOS Living Super Absorbent Disposable Underpads are single use bed pads for a bed, a chair, a change table or a wheelchair seat. Two sizes cover most needs.
What does it do and how does it work?
- A super absorbent polymer core, with fluff pulp, holds liquid and reduces odours.
- The Small pad uses 3 g of polymer. The Large pad uses 6 g.
- A diamond embossed top sheet spreads liquid across the pad.
- The backsheet is waterproof, and the pad is latex-free.
- An Intertek test in 2024 measured absorption speed and rewetting resistance.

- A single-use pad at the Super Absorbent level, where a washable pad is not wanted.
- Carers changing a bed or chair through the day or night.
- Choose a washable underpad if the pad must be laundered and reused.

- Small, 18 x 24 in (45 x 60 cm), suits a chair, a change mat or a wheelchair seat.
- Large, 24 x 36 in (60 x 90 cm), covers more of a bed or a bed pan area.
