Description
Bure Rise & Go DB, item 56-309, is a powered rising walker with a power-rise harness for supported indoor standing and walking practice. It is not a full-body patient lift.
Rated capacity: 150 kg (330.7 lb).
Who is it for?
- An assessed person practising standing and walking with carer help, in a hospital or care setting.
- Two people are recommended whenever the person stands or is transported.
- A fully suspended transfer needs a different patient lift. Ask a therapist to confirm the plan.
How does the rise work?
- The harness fits low across the hips and bottom, with the broad upper part supporting the body, and connects to two attachment straps.
- The harness comes in S, M, L and XL and is split at the rear so it can stay on for WC use.
- Lock at least two castors and fold down the stirrup. One carer stands in front, takes weight on the stirrup and keeps eye contact; the other stands beside.
- Check that the harness pulls evenly on both sides and adjust at once if it does not.
- Shin supports swing away when no platform is used.
Will it fit?
- Width is 66 to 106 cm (26 to 41.7 in), length 101 cm and height 95 to 135 cm.
- The armrest span is 34 to 65 cm (13.4 to 25.6 in), and the walker weighs 40 kg (88 lb).
- The 56-309/75 uses 75 mm casters; the quote should name the version.
- Measure the route, the chair approach and the space for two carers.
- Indoor use only. The parts are IP65 and the walker can be machine washed.
Harness and battery care
- Replace the harness and attachment belts every three years, and check the harness date before use.
- Check the belts, seams, Velcro, holder and casters before every use.
- Fully charge the battery before the first use; it takes about 25 hours.
- The LED is green when full, flashes below 25 percent, and the battery cuts off below 20 percent.
What does a quote include?
It identifies the 56-309 version, the harness size, attachment belts and any short platform 56-333-DB, long platform 56-383-DB or gait kit 56-388-KIT.
