Description
The Drive P903SC05 is the embedded staff control panel for the Prime Care P903 bed with Ti-Motion motors. It fits in the foot board so a caregiver can run the bed from the foot end.
What does it do and how does it work?
- 15 buttons raise and lower the back, knee and bed height, and run Auto Contour.
- Adds Trendelenburg, reverse Trendelenburg, Cardiac Chair and the under-bed light.
- Three lockout buttons cover back with Auto Contour, knee with Auto Contour, and hi-lo with Trendelenburg and reverse; they lock both the pendant and the panel.
- Bolts into the foot board and plugs into the bed's Y-cable.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
- For a care setting where staff adjust the bed from the foot end.
- For a P903 with Ti-Motion motors; a Linak P903 takes P903SC03.
- Not for a 903 or 905 bed; those use the 903C-SC01 control.

- Fits the Prime Care P903 with Ti-Motion motors, sold each.

Using it day to day
- Install the panel in the foot board, route its cable with the foot actuator cable and plug it into the Y-cable.
- Use Trendelenburg only at or near the highest bed position, move the head end away from the wall first, and do not exceed 14 degrees.
- Run the actuators for 2 minutes at most, then leave them 18 minutes.

- Trendelenburg may not suit every resident; use it with medical supervision.

How do I tell the two motor versions apart?
P903SC05 is for Ti-Motion motors. P903SC03 is for Linak motors.
Is battery backup included?
No. This order is the panel and its cable. Battery backup is a separate P903 part.
What can be locked out?
Back and Auto Contour, knee and Auto Contour, and hi-lo with Trendelenburg and reverse. The lockout applies to the pendant as well as the panel.
