Item 10405 is Drive's tall adult forearm crutch, sold as one pair and rated 300 lb (136 kg). The cuff wraps the forearm and the handgrip is hard plastic. The shorter adult pair is a different item.
Choose 10405 when a clinician has asked for forearm crutches and the user is in the tall adult range: 5 ft 10 in to 6 ft 6 in (178 to 198 cm). If the user is shorter, do not force this pair. Item 10403 is the other adult size.
These are forearm crutches, not underarm crutches. Someone told to use an underarm crutch needs a different product.
The handle-to-floor range is 33 to 42 in (84 to 107 cm). The leg and the forearm section adjust separately, so the cuff and the handgrip can be set on their own. Have that height set with a clinician, or book a free home assessment.

Drive Medical warrants the Drive steel forearm crutches, tall adult (item 10405), to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product for the original consumer purchaser.
- Term: lifetime limited, original consumer purchaser only.
- Excludes failure caused by owner misuse or negligence, and normal wear and tear.
- Excludes non-durable parts that need periodic replacement, such as rubber accessories, casters and grips.
