Description
ErgoSafe ErgoSeat 5200 is a two-piece seat, item 230400, that lets a seated person move sideways or in a circle and get ready to stand. The pieces slide over each other, and a strap and buckle hold them on the chair.
How is it placed?
- Use it on the chair or seat the person already uses.
- Set the two pieces so the shiny faces touch, with the softer faces outward.
- Fix the pair to the chair or seat with the adjustable strap and buckle.
- Check the strap, buckle and both pieces for wear before each use.
- Practice with a second caregiver the first time.
What size is it?
- 22.5 x 21.5 in (57 x 54.5 cm).

Who is it for?
- A person who can be repositioned while seated, or who is preparing to stand.
- It is a seating aid, not a lift and not a sling with loops for a carry bar, and it is not a slide sheet or a stand-assist vest.
- It does not take the place of a caregiver when the person cannot stand with the support already in use.
- For extended use, check the person's skin. A registered occupational or physical therapist should advise if there is a pressure-ulcer risk.
