The MBA-BAT-DOCK is Golden's charge deck for the Buzzaround EX and LX, holding both U1 boxes for indoor charging while the scooter stays outside.
What does it do and how does it work?
- The deck holds both interlocking U1 battery boxes and connects them to the scooter's own off-board charger.
- Lift the boxes off the scooter, set them in the wells, and plug the charger's XLR connector into the deck.
- Plug the charger into a household outlet; unplug it and refit the boxes when the charge finishes.
- A footplate on each side holds the deck down while you lift a box.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
- A Buzzaround EX or LX owner who parks the scooter in a garage, vehicle or RV away from an outlet.
- It takes the interlocking U1 boxes only, not loose batteries or other models' boxes.
- Golden also sells the Y-cable harness, part MBE-BZ-CHGHARNS-Y, for these same scooters. We confirm which lead matches your battery box before you order.
Will it fit?
- It fits the Buzzaround EX, 3-wheel GB118 and 4-wheel GB148, and the Buzzaround LX, 3-wheel GB119 and 4-wheel GB149.
- It accepts the interlocking U1 boxes that came with those scooters.
- The same deck suits the 3-wheel and 4-wheel versions.
- The deck weighs 4 lb (1.8 kg) and needs a level spot near an outlet.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- Use the scooter's charger; batteries, boxes and charger are not included.
- It does not charge loose batteries or a box from another Golden model.

Do I need a charger?
No. It uses the off-board charger that came with your Buzzaround EX or LX.
Can I use it with a Companion?
No. It fits the Buzzaround EX and LX only; other Golden boxes do not connect.
How do I lift a box onto it?
Stand on the footplates to hold the deck down, then lift the box by its handle.
