Description
The Buzzaround LX 4-wheel (GB149) includes two U1 batteries. The front half is 57 lbs (25.9 kg), heavier than the three-wheel LX.
Who it suits, and who should choose something else
- A rider up to 375 lbs (170 kg) who can lift 57 lbs, or who has help, and who wants four wheels.
- Ground clearance is 4 in (10.2 cm). Solid 9 in tires and comfort-spring suspension.
- The three-wheel LX turns in 40.5 in and its front half is 50 lbs. If 57 lbs is too heavy, see travel scooters.
- If you need a cushion or back support for posture, ask your therapist about a power wheelchair.

- Six pieces: the front half at 57 lbs, the rear half at 36 lbs, the seat with arms at 32 lbs and two 24 lb U1 packs. Assembled with batteries it is 174 lbs (79 kg).
- Length 44 in (112 cm), width 22 in (56 cm). Height is 37 to 39 in (94 to 99 cm) to the seat back, or 43.5 to 48.5 in with the headrest. Turning radius 54 in (137 cm); wheelbase 33.8 in (86 cm); deck height 6.75 in (17 cm).
- The high-back seat is 17 in wide and 16 in deep with a 17 in back. It sits 21.75 to 23.75 in off the ground and 15.75 to 17.75 in above the deck in three 1 in positions. A 20 by 18 in stadium seat is optional.
- Solid 9 in tires with 2 in anti-tip wheels. A 90 A controller, freewheel mode, electronic speed control and electro-mechanical brakes; top speed up to 8 km/h (5 mph).
- The tiller adjusts infinitely with an EZ-reach lever, and carries USB and charging ports plus a cell phone holder. LED headlight, taillight and a front running light.
- Ask us which shroud colours we can supply with the unit; optional colour kits are separate.
Batteries come with it
- Two U1 packs, 24 lbs each. Range up to 29 km (18 mi) at 200 lbs, not at 375 lbs. The off-board charger is included.
- We replace worn batteries.

Is GB149 the three-wheel?
No. GB149 is the four-wheel LX; GB119 is the three-wheel, with a 50 lb front half.
How wide a turn does it need?
The turning radius is 54 in (137 cm). The three-wheel LX is 40.5 in.
Are the batteries included?
Yes. Two U1 packs come with it. The 29 km range was tested at 200 lbs.

Warranty details
Golden Technologies warrants the Buzzaround LX 4-wheel (GB149) to the initial consumer, from the date of purchase from an authorized Golden provider, against defects in materials or workmanship.
- Steel frame, frame welds, tiller frame, front fork and seat post: lifetime limited.
- Transaxle and motor/brake assembly (electrical function): 2 years.
- Controller, dash, wire harnesses, potentiometer and battery charger: 2 years.
- Batteries supplied by Golden: 1 year.
- Bearings, bushings, rubber and plastic parts, seat swivel, armrests and accessories: 1 year.
- Excludes wear items (tires and tubes, motor brushes, brake pads, plastic shrouds, bulbs and fuses, upholstery, armrest pads), misuse, commercial use and exceeding the weight capacity.
- Parts only: labour, service calls and freight are the owner's cost. A warranty registration card must be on file.
