Description
The Golden Nearly Universal cup holder (MBA-UNV-CUPH) straps to a Golden scooter or power chair armrest and holds a standard sized cup.
What does it do and how does it work?
- Two Velcro straps wrap the armrest, so the holder needs no bolts.
- Stick-on padding sits between the holder and the armrest and tightens the fit.
- The cradle takes a standard sized cup.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
- It suits a Golden scooter or power chair rider who wants a drink at the armrest.
- Do not choose it for a Buzzaround CarryOn (GB120), CarryOn HD (GB220), CarryOn power chair (GP130), Stride (GP301), Cricket Carbon (GP302) or Ally (GP303).
- The GB120 has its own drink holder, and the GB220 has its own cup holder.
Will it fit?
- It mounts on the armrest, not on the tiller or a frame tube.
- We confirm the armrest and your cup before you order.
Using it day to day
- Wrap the Velcro over the armrest with the padding against the pad, then set a standard cup in the cradle.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- It does not fit Pride, Drive or other brands.
How does it compare?
- For a phone, the Golden cell phone holder (MBA-CPH) is the scooter phone holder, not a cup holder.
- For a cane, the Golden tube cane holder (MBA-CANEHT) is the cane accessory, not a drink holder.
- Shop the mobility scooter range if you still need the scooter.
Frequently asked questions
Can I bolt this holder to the armrest?
No. The MBA-UNV-CUPH uses Velcro straps and stick-on padding only. There is no bolt kit in the box.
Will a travel mug stay put?
The cradle is sized for a standard cup. A tall or tapered mug can sit loose, so try it before you ride.
What about a Buzzaround XL, model GB121 or GB124?
The GB121 and GB124 take this strap-on holder. Golden's separate bolt-on cup holder for those two models only is part MBA-0004.
