A bushing sits between a shaft and its housing so the shaft turns in it rather than in the housing itself.
Bushings differ between shafts and lift ranges, so the lift model and the shaft settle the number. A trained technician measures the shaft and the bushing together before replacing either; keep the old bushing so the bore and length can be compared.

Warranty details
Handicare warrants this oilite bushing, a service part supplied new, against failure from defects in material or workmanship for 1 year from the date of installation or 18 months from the date of manufacture, whichever is shorter.
- Bushing: 1 year from installation or 18 months from manufacture, whichever is shorter.
- Excludes normal wear and tear, damage by natural forces, user neglect or misuse, and deliberate damage.
- Void if the lift is not serviced by Handicare or its authorized service agents as the maker recommends, or if an unauthorized person works on it.
- Handicare's liability is limited to replacing defective parts.
