The switch cuts the lift's power so that it cannot be operated. The switch position and operation depend on the lift model, so give us the model and serial number to confirm the replacement.
Switches are matched to the lift's control box, and the wiring has to be reconnected in the right order when one is renewed.

Warranty details
Handicare warrants this shut-off switch (632001), supplied new as a service part for its ceiling lifts, against failure caused by defects in materials or workmanship.
- Shut-off switch: 1 year from installation or 18 months from manufacture, whichever is shorter.
- Remedy: replacement of the defective part.
- The lift must be serviced by Handicare or its authorized service agents; work by an unauthorized person voids the warranty.
- Excludes normal wear and tear, damage by natural forces, user neglect or misuse, and deliberate damage.
- Your statutory rights are not affected.
