Description
Part 400990 is a hand control for MedCare Care Lift, Care Stand, Car Extractor and Low Pro Lift equipment. It operates the lift from the user's or carer's hand.
Check the model, serial number and connector against the existing hand control before ordering; an older-looking pendant does not establish which replacement is needed. A trained technician can connect it, test the up and down functions and make sure the cable is routed clear of the moving parts before the machine returns to use.
Buttons that respond only some of the time can point to the cable or socket rather than the control, so mention this when you request a repair.

Medcare Products warrants this hand control (400990) against defects in material or workmanship for 1 year, to the original owner, in Canada and the United States.
- Hand control: 1 year from the date of sale.
- Remedy: Medcare repairs or replaces the part, at its option; labour, removal and reinstallation costs are the owner's.
- Misuse, abuse, alteration, or not following the care, safety, operating and inspection instructions voids the warranty.
- Replacement parts not authorized by Medcare void the warranty.
