Description
The bar is the four-point QRS locking type supplied with the lift.
The bar locks onto the swivel mount and turns through 360 degrees, so a carer can angle a patient without the sling twisting against the mast. The FGA-700 lift it is used on is rated 700 lb (318 kg). The bar has no separate rating.
Have a trained technician fit the bar. Keep up its service checks: a visual carry bar check at each use, a six-month service inspection, and an annual inspection that checks, greases and tightens the carry bar bolts.

Warranty details
Handicare warrants this four-point carry bar (280226), supplied new as a service part for the FGA-700 floor lift, against failure caused by defects in material or workmanship.
- Carry bar: 1 year from installation or 18 months from manufacture, whichever is shorter.
- Remedy: replacement of the defective part.
- Void if the lift is not serviced by Handicare or its authorized service agents, or if an unauthorized person works on it.
- Excludes normal wear and tear, damage by natural forces, user neglect or misuse, and deliberate damage.
- Your statutory rights are not affected.
