Description
The guard covers the point where the lifting strap leaves the lift's casing, so the strap runs clear of the case. Compare the old guard's thickness, shape and opening with the replacement before ordering. A technician should check the strap path and guard together during service.
A guard wears into a groove where the strap passes, and the strap then frays at that edge. Renew the guard with the strap if the groove has gone through the surface. Tell us your lift's model and serial number and we confirm the guard before you order.

Handicare warrants this thick strap guard (637041), supplied new as a service part for its P-440 portable ceiling lift, against failure caused by defects in materials or workmanship.
- Strap guard: 1 year from installation or 18 months from manufacture, whichever is shorter.
- Remedy: replacement of the defective part.
- The lift must be serviced by Handicare or its authorized service agents; work by an unauthorized person voids the warranty.
- Excludes normal wear and tear, damage by natural forces, user neglect or misuse, and deliberate damage.
- Your statutory rights are not affected.
