Description
The 81000003 lift strap is the maker's replacement strap for the Handicare RiseAtlas450 and RiseAtlas625 ceiling lift units. It is the strap that winds on the lift's shaft and carries the lifting accessory, supplied as one strap.
Replacing it is a technician's job. The maker's strap-change steps have the technician open the covers, remove the h-adapter, run the strap out with the hand control or the emergency lowering until the opening in the shaft is visible, then take out the batteries and the main board before the strap comes free.
Because the strap is the part the lifting accessory hangs from, the lift should have a functional test before it goes back into use.
