Description
The 81000020 battery pack is the maker's replacement battery for the Handicare RisePorto300 and RisePorto450 portable ceiling lift. It is a 26.4 V nickel-metal hydride pack of 22 cells, 2.7 Ah, supplied with three tape strips.
A technician can measure the pack across its red and black wires: a charged pack should read 26 to 27 V DC, and with the charger attached 39 to 41 V DC. If the charger voltage is right and the pack still reads low, the pack needs replacing.
The pack lives under the RisePorto cover, so a technician opens the covers and works with ESD protection; the removed pack goes to NiMH battery recycling.
