Description
The handrim is the ring bolted to the wheel that the rider pushes to move the chair. This 25 in Newton Air Grip handrim has the maker's Air Grip surface and a Monster Green finish.
Order the size and colour that match the wheel on the other side, and check the mounting tabs against the old rim. Send the wheelchair model and serial number and we confirm the handrim before it is ordered.
Fitting means taking the tire off, removing the nuts inside the rim and lining up the mounting holes, a job for our service team, and a handrim takes the daily push. Warranty terms are in the Warranty tab. Funding may help: see who may help pay.

Warranty details
Motion Composites warrants this handrim, a Motion Composites-made component, against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase.
- Handrim: 1 year.
- Covers the original consumer purchaser only.
- A part repaired or replaced under warranty stays covered for the rest of the term, or 90 days if that is longer.
- Excludes normal wear and tear, negligence, accident, misuse, improper maintenance or storage, improper repairs, unauthorized modifications, commercial or institutional use, and use above the chair's weight capacity.
- Claims go through an authorized Motion Composites dealer.
