What does it do and how does it work?
The pendant moves the head, the foot, both together, and the bed height. It needs mains power.
- Head section: 0 to 60 degrees. Foot section: 0 to 17 degrees.
- Height at the 42 in bed ends is 18 to 26 in (46 to 66 cm). Clearance under the bed is 14.5 to 22 in (37 to 56 cm).
- Unplugged, the bed does not run.

- The 600 lb (272 kg) total includes the person, mattress, rails and other accessories.

- With rails the width is 49.37 in (125 cm).
- Two cartons: the frame at 133 lb (60 kg) and the bed ends at 122.2 lb (55 kg).
- Mattress height must be at least 5.5 in (14 cm).
Using it day to day
Lock the frame together before anyone uses the bed.
- Lock the casters, and do not run the pendant until the frame is locked together.
- Flip the mattress guards up before the mattress goes on the deck.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
Use a Drive mattress matched to this deck, and only the half rails made for this series.
- Half rails 15021BV-LW are sold separately. This item, 15300LW, does not include them. Part 15300LW-HR does.
- A separate 24 V battery, part 15302LWB, can lower the head and foot slowly in an emergency. It is not for daily use.
- Welds and frame: limited lifetime. Motor and hand control: 5 years. Other parts: 1 year, for the original purchaser.

Warranty details
Drive Medical warrants the full electric lightweight bariatric bed, 42 inch (15300LW), to the original purchaser. During the warranty period, Drive repairs or replaces defective items at its option at no charge.
- Welds and frame: lifetime.
- Motor and hand control: 5 years.
- All other parts and components: 1 year.
- Drive may ask for broken parts back for evaluation before a credit is issued; parts shipped next day air are at the customer's expense.
- Void if parts or accessories other than authorized Drive Medical replacements are used.
