Description
50020 is the extra large Hoyer mesh U-sling, a divided-leg loop sling rated 600 lb (272 kg). It is the version without head support. A clinician should assess the fit before you order.
Which size is which?
- Small is 50023, red. Medium is 50022, yellow. Large is 50021, green. Extra large is 50020, blue.
- Each size has its own item number. Ordering the extra large does not send the other sizes.
- The maker gives a weight-range guideline beside each size; it is a guide, not a substitute for an assessment.
Which lift it fits
It is a loop sling for a Hoyer loop spreader bar, listed for the HML400, CHLA-2, HPL402 and CHLA-2T. Tell us the lift model before you pair it with a different Hoyer. See divided-leg slings and patient lifts.
Mesh, head support and care
- The sling is mesh. This is not the head-support mesh U-sling; that family is small 50027, medium 50026 and large 50025.
- Wash it up to 185 F (85 C) and check the fabric and stitching before each use.
- The sling is tested to EN ISO 10535.
- Hoyer classic slings carry a six-month warranty to the original owner. Altering the sling voids it. See the Warranty tab.

Is 50020 the small?
No. 50020 is the extra large, blue. Large is 50021. Medium is 50022. Small is 50023.
Is this the head-support mesh sling?
No. The mesh U-sling with head support uses 50025, 50026 and 50027. This sling has no head support.
Will it fit a newer Hoyer loop lift?
It is listed for the HML400, CHLA-2, HPL402 and CHLA-2T. Tell us the lift model before pairing it with a different Hoyer.
Is a lift included?
No. This order is one sling in the size you choose.

Warranty
Warranty details
Joerns Healthcare warrants the Hoyer Classic mesh U-sling, extra large 50020, against defects in materials and workmanship, and replaces a sling that proves defective within the warranty period.
- Sling: 6 months from purchase.
- Covers the original purchaser only.
- A replacement is covered only until the original warranty period ends.
- Joerns may ask for the sling to be returned for inspection, at the customer's expense.
- Excludes normal wear and tear, neglect, wilful damage, unsuitable surroundings and care that does not follow the instructions.
- Any alteration, modification or repair voids the warranty.
