Description
70000 is the extra large Hoyer classic padded U-sling, a divided-leg sling for a Hoyer loop bar. It is rated 600 lb (272 kg).
What does it do?
- The U shape supports the back and thighs and leaves the centre open for toileting.
- Four loop points hang on a four-point Hoyer loop spreader bar.
- The padded polyester is washable up to 185 F (85 C).
- The sling is tested to EN ISO 10535.
Which size?
- Small is 70003, red. Medium is 70002, yellow.
- Large is 70001, green. Extra large is 70000, blue.
- Each size has its own item number, so ordering 70000 sends the extra large only.
- A clinician assesses the person and chooses the size.
Which lift?
It fits the Hoyer loop bar on the HML400, CHLA-2, HPL402 and CHLA-2T.
- It is for a passive lift only, and it is not for another maker's lift.
- A clip bar needs a clip sling; this sling has loops.

Head support or not?
This sling has no head support. The padded U-sling with head support uses 70013, 70012, 70011 and 70010, smallest to largest.
Care and warranty
- Machine wash up to 185 F (85 C). Do not use bleach.
- Cool tumble dry, air dry, or dry on very low heat. Do not dry clean.
- Check the fabric, webbing and stitching before each use, and remove a damaged sling.
- The warranty is six months to the original owner, and altering the sling voids it. See the Warranty tab.

Is 70000 the small?
No. 70000 is the extra large, blue. Large is 70001, medium 70002 and small 70003.
Is this the head-support padded sling?
No. The padded U-sling with head support uses 70010 to 70013.
Is it a four-point sling?
Yes. It has four loop points for a Hoyer four-point loop bar.
Will it fit a newer Hoyer loop lift?
Tell us the lift model before pairing it with a different Hoyer. The listed lifts are HML400, CHLA-2, HPL402 and CHLA-2T.

Warranty details
Joerns Healthcare warrants the Hoyer Classic padded U-sling, extra large 70000, against defects in materials and workmanship, and replaces a sling that proves defective within the warranty period.
- Sling: 6 months from purchase.
- Covers the original purchaser only.
- A replacement is covered only until the original warranty period ends.
- Joerns may ask for the sling to be returned for inspection, at the customer's expense.
- Excludes normal wear and tear, neglect, wilful damage, unsuitable surroundings and care that does not follow the instructions.
- Any alteration, modification or repair voids the warranty.
