The Joerns Arise therapy pad, item 320-0271 or 320-0319, is the zip-on top for an Arise 1000 or Arise 1000 EX low air loss mattress.

- 320-0271 is the pad for the Arise 1000: 48 in wide, 80 in long and 8.5 in deep (122 x 203 x 22 cm).
- 320-0319 is the pad for the Arise 1000 EX: 36, 42 or 48 in wide, 80 or 88 in long, and 8.5 in deep.

How does it fit?
- The pad zips along both sides of the mattress tub and covers the air cells.
- On the EX, the hose passes through a window at the person's left foot, and four snaps hold the opening at the control panel.
- Never let a person lie on the bare cells; the pad goes between person and mattress.
Fabric and cleaning
- Quilted nylon with low friction and low shear, treated to inhibit bacteria and fungus, and moisture vapour permeable.
- The pad is not air permeable and may present a suffocation risk; keep it fitted.
- Wipe with disinfectant or mild detergent. If heavily soiled, wash and dry at no more than 120 F (48.9 C), using a non-bleach detergent sparingly.
Safety and returns
- A new pad can change the gap between the mattress and the side rails. Have the bed checked after fitting; see bed rails and bed accessories.
- A cover that has touched skin is a hygienic item and cannot be returned. Other returns need a return authorization; see the return policy.
