What you should send us
- Tell us the bed model and serial number and we confirm the fit before you order.
- The five codes are MATTEXT435CA, MATTEXT439CA, MATTEXT442CA, MATTEXT836CA and MATTEXT842CA.
- A frame extension is a different part. N301AL is not one of these codes. Frames are on homecare beds.
- The mattress itself is separate. Foam surfaces are on foam mattresses. Other parts are on bed accessories.
What should you not assume?
- Joerns has not said this bolster prevents falls or entrapment.
- After it is fitted, recheck the rails. Health Canada flags gaps over 120 mm (4 3/4 in) in zones 1 to 3. Service can help if the piece does not match the label.

No. A frame extension lengthens the bed. This is the bolster. The two are ordered separately.
