Description
The Joerns N165 is a head-section angle indicator for the UltraCare XT bed. It mounts on the head section and gives the caregiver a visual reference for the head angle.
What does it do and how does it work?
- The indicator shows the angle of the raised head section, so a caregiver can return to a position that was set earlier.
- It is a visual reference only; it does not move the bed or lock the head section.
- No power or wiring is needed.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
- Caregivers who repeat a head elevation on an UltraCare XT bed.
- For Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg, choose the separate N501AL angle kit.
- Not for another bed model.
Will it fit?
- It fits the Joerns UltraCare XT bed.
- Check the bed label before ordering; the indicator is one part, not a kit.
- The scale range and markings are not specified.
Using it day to day
- Fit it to the head section and read it against the head angle you want to repeat.
- Check that it stays fixed as the head section moves.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- It shows the head angle, not the Trendelenburg tilt.
- The bed, staff control and N501AL kit are separate. The UltraCare XT is a long-term care bed.
How does it compare?
- N501AL angle indicator kit: the trend angle for the same bed.
- Bed accessories: the range this indicator sits in.
