The Joerns AdvanceCare Traditional panel is a laminate head and foot panel set for the UltraCare XT bed. It comes in Quartered Oak or Spiced Cherry and in a 42 in wide or standard code.
What does it do and how does it work?
- The panels finish both ends of the bed and cover the frame.
- The 42 in EXTPAN- footboard carries the AdvanceCare staff control for Trendelenburg and Comfort Chair.
- The standard PANEL- code is the same Traditional profile for the 35 in deck.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
- UltraCare XT owners replacing a damaged panel or changing the finish.
- Choose EXTPAN- only if the bed has the 42 in width expansion; PANEL- fits the standard deck.
- Not for an EasyCare or another Joerns frame.
Will it fit?
- The UltraCare XT deck is 35 x 80 in, with a 42 in width expansion option.
- A Traditional panel is 0.75 in (1.9 cm) thick and 18.25 in (46.4 cm) high. The standard code is 36 in (91 cm) wide and the 42 in code is 42 in (107 cm) wide.
- The 42 in code fits the expanded frame; the standard code fits the 35 in deck.
- Check the frame label and the width before ordering.
Using it day to day
- Fit the panels to the head and foot ends; connect the staff control on the 42 in footboard.
- The panels do not change the mattress or rails.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- It fits the UltraCare XT only; other Joerns frames use different panels.
- The bed, mattress and rails are separate; rails are under bed rails.
- Only two finishes are offered here: Quartered Oak and Spiced Cherry.
