Description
The Leckey Advance Bath Chair is a bathing seat for a child, not a wheelchair. A caregiver sets it and stays.
What does it do, and who is it for?
- Four sizes cover about age 1 to 18, with overlap between them.
- Every size is rated 159 lb (72 kg), and each is matched to a user height: 30 to 41, 37 to 49, 45 to 57, and 53 to 65 in.
- Seat height runs 2 to 17 in and the overall width is 17 in.
- Seat depth is 9, 11, 13 or 16 in by size, and back support is 14, 16, 18 or 22 in.
- Head support is 6, 6, 8.5 or 8.5 in, and calf support 10, 10, 13 or 13 in.
- Non-slip footings come with the chair. The nylon fabric is breathable, rinses clean and machine washes at 60 degrees C, in royal blue or pink.
- A hip and chest strap set is fitted, with an optional head brace.
How a caregiver uses it
- Levers set the height and angle; the front and back legs move independently for tilt-in-space, and the back has four positions from flat to 90 degrees.
- Use the straps as soon as the child is seated, and never leave the child unattended. The chair is for indoor use.
- Do not use a hose or a power washer, and do not set both leg pairs to their highest position at once.
- The shower trolley, LSF/1, is separate: keep it off uneven ground and slopes over 5 degrees, and lock the casters.

Is this a wheelchair?
No. It is a bathing seat that sits in the bath. Wheels are only on the separate shower trolley.
Can the child bathe without a caregiver?
No. Never leave the child unattended. A caregiver stays while the child is in the chair.
Is the shower trolley included?
No. The trolley is item LSF/1, sold separately. The chair itself has floor feet, not casters.
