Description
Raizer II, item 107761, is a battery lifting chair that raises a person from the floor to a seated or near-standing position. One helper runs it.
Who is it for?
- A person on the floor who cannot get up alone.
- Do not use it if a fall injury cannot be ruled out, or if the person cannot say how they feel.
- It is a lifting aid, not a transport chair. Do not push it with a person in it, and do not stand on it.
- If the person cannot come to a near stand at all, a sling floor lift such as the Hoyer Advance is the right tool.
How is it assembled and carried?
- It builds from four identical legs and two identical backrests; sound and LED signals confirm the parts.
- Lying: 52.0 x 27.1 x 10.9 in (1321 x 688 x 277 mm). Standing: 25.8 x 27.1 x 48.2 in (655 x 688 x 1225 mm).
- Total weight is 31.1 lb (14.1 kg): the seat is 20.3 lb (9.2 kg), and the backrests and legs are 10.8 lb (4.9 kg).
What are the limits?
- The safe working load is 330.7 lb (150 kg).
- Fasten the lap belt. Never route it under the rear legs.
- Support the neck with one hand, or add the headrest accessory.
- The chair is IP52 and not waterproof. Wipe it with a cloth wrung out well; never immerse it or flush it with water.
Battery and service
- A full charge gives about 40 lifts at maximum load.
- The 15 W charger takes up to 6 hours; 10 to 15 minutes on a flat battery is enough for one lift.
- Pull off the red stop button to stop movement; it restarts only when the button is refitted.
- The expected service life is over 5 years with an annual inspection by a qualified technician.
Which version should I choose?
- The headrest is an accessory. Use it when the helper needs both hands free.
- Without it, one hand supports the neck and the other runs the control.
Frequently asked questions
Can I move the person to another room in the chair?
No. Do not push it while someone is sitting in it.
How quickly does the chair rise?
20 to 30 seconds.
Is the headrest included?
It is an accessory for when the helper needs both hands free. Without it, one hand supports the neck.
Service and funding
Registering the chair with Liftup covers spare parts for 2 years from the purchase date, supplied through an authorized distributor. Funding may help: see who may help pay. A home assessment is the right check when falls keep happening. Delivery includes a walk-through of the assembly, the lap belt and the stop button. Later checks are under service.
