Description
The BIOS LF357 is a long-handled bath brush with a soft, latex-free sponge head, made for washing the back, legs and feet without bending. The curved handle is 23 in (58 cm) long.
What does it do and how does it work?
- Handle: 23 in (58 cm), curved to follow the line of the back.
- Sponge head: soft and textured, 6 by 4 by 2 in (15 by 10 by 5 cm).
- Sponge: latex free; BIOS describes it as mould resistant.
- Uses: bathing or showering, and household cleaning.
Who is it for, and who should choose something else?
- It suits someone with limited reach who can wash independently but cannot reach the back or feet.
- It is a washing aid, not a support: use a grab bar for balance.
- If standing to wash is hard, a bath bench may suit better than a longer handle.
Will it fit?
- The 23 in (58 cm) length reaches the back and feet at arm's length.
- The head is 6 by 4 by 2 in (15 by 10 by 5 cm).
- Nothing is installed; the brush is used by hand.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
- Use it wet with bath soap or shower gel.
- It is one fixed length, and the curved handle does not flex.
- The sponge is soft and textured, not an abrasive scrub pad.
- It is not weight bearing: do not lean on it.
How does it compare?
- A bath bench lets a person sit to wash when standing is the hard part.
- A grab bar gives balance and support; this brush only extends reach.
