Using it day to day
- On the Care Stand, place it around the lower back, just above the belt line, and buckle it.
- Hook the loops on with the lifting arm down. Use the shortest straps, and the same loop on both sides.
- As the person stands, tighten the belt again so it does not ride up.
- Spot-clean or spray disinfect. Do not wash it.
- A washed disposable belt is no longer safe.
What does it work with, and what are its limits?
It fits the Medcare Car Extractor and Medcare Care Stand 500.
- On the Car Extractor, one belt sits under the arms and a second belt, not included, sits under the thighs.
- The loops hook to a Medcare stand. It is not a clip sling.
- A tear, or stitching that pulls away, is covered for 6 months from the date on the tag.
Which version should I choose?
The disposable belt comes in small 600078, medium 600080, large 600082 and XL 600084. This is the medium. The reusable medium is 400080.

Medcare Products, Inc. extends a limited warranty on its slings and belts, including the disposable Care Stand Belt (600080), to the original owner.
- Term: 6 months from the date marked on the tag.
- Covers material that tears or stitching that pulls away; Medcare replaces the belt.
- Removing or altering the date tag voids the warranty.
- Void with misuse, abuse, alteration, bleach, or failure to follow the care, safety, operating or inspection instructions.
- Applies in Canada and the United States.
